Expression of Gallus Epidermal Growth Factor (gEGF) with Food-Grade Lactococcus lactis Expression System and Its Biological Effects on Broiler Chickens

نویسندگان

چکیده

As a multifunctional polypeptide, epidermal growth factor (EGF) increases performance or enhances resistance to diseases in commercial broilers under adverse conditions. In this study, recombinant Lactococcus lactis was established produce the secretory form of bioactive gEGF. The results vitro testing showed that gEGF promoted proliferation chicken embryo fibroblast cells. A total 63 5-day-old broiler chickens were evenly divided into three groups and treated with either M17 medium (the control group), supernatant LL-pNZ8149 fermentation product P-LL LL-pNZ8149-gEGF group). two weeks, many measurements growth, immunity intestines significantly higher group than those groups. Our study could be expressed expression system potential enhance performance, immune function, intestinal development chickens.

Altered Expression of Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR) in Glioma

EGFR is a key molecule in cancer cells. EGFR signaling was shown to promote tumor cell proliferation and survival, invasion and angiogenesis and mediate resistance to treatment, including ionizing radiation in preclinical models. We extracted proteins from astrocytoma (III and IV) oligodendroglioma(IV) tumors and normal brain tissues and then evaluated the protein purity by Bradford test ...

Controlled gene expression systems for Lactococcus lactis with the food-grade inducer nisin.

The kinetics, control, and efficiency of nisin-induced expression directed by the nisA promoter region were studied in Lactococcus lactis with transcriptional and translational fusions to the gusA reporter genes. In the nisin-producing L. lactis strain NZ9700, the specific beta-glucuronidase activity increased very rapidly after mid-exponential growth until the maximum level at the start of the...

Generation of epidermal growth factor-expressing Lactococcus lactis and its enhancement on intestinal development and growth of early-weaned mice.

BACKGROUND Epidermal growth factor (EGF) plays an important role in intestinal proliferation and differentiation. Previous studies by others have shown that administration of EGF into the ileum lumen enhances intestinal development. OBJECTIVE The objective was to examine the feasibility of expressing and delivering EGF via Lactococcus lactis to early-weaned mice to enhance intestinal developm...

Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor Expression in Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma by Immunohistochemical Technique and its Correlation with Clinicopathological Features

Background:Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) is the most common malignancy of the oral cavity. Despite some improvements in treatment, the survival rate is still very low, mainly due to the possible development of secondary malignancy or metastasis. Clinical and pathological features as well as molecular biomarkers might predict the recurrence. In recent years, many studies ...
